74 Cuda Resto
« on: December 09, 2011 - 09:32:48 PM »
I am working on a 74 Cuda. I have new frame rails installed and starting to assemble the rear sheet metal. The panels are fitting perfect. My problem is that I am trying to figure out trunk floor to tailight panel dimensions etc.

Stuff seems to be where it should be but my tail light panel is not lining up as i think it should.

A little background. I bought the car in pieces. Therefore i do not have a refrence that I would have taken before I dissassembled.

I will be starting a thread in the resto area.

Any pictures of how the tail section assembles would help. IE: trunk floor to tail light panel, Brackets inside trunk, etc.

Does your car have the original Dutchman panel in place? If so, everything runs off that.
Replace that first if it needs to be, and install quarters after is my suggestion.

Take a look at this thread by Sean. It discusses about the tail panel fit also.
Another member has spoken recently that he had fitment challenges on the tailpanel also.
