Anybody knows these wheels?
« on: December 09, 2011 - 03:19:05 AM »
Hello!!

After introducing myself in another part of the Forum, I place this first topic.

I would like to know if anybody knows the brand of the two kind of wheels that I attach in photos.

Where could I get them?

Regards to all!!

:iagree: The bottom wheels look like either Cragar or Weld pro stars :2thumbs:

As for the top wheels, if you do a search on google images and type in " valiant kidney bean wheels " you will find them, i think they are a form of Kelsey Hayes in fact. :2thumbs:

:iagree:  The top ones are factory Ford Mustang wheels, I believe they are 14" slotted style found on the 2nd gen Mustangs from '71 to '73.  They have the same bolt pattern as Mopars with the larger 4.5 bolt pattern.  I THINK they may have the correct backspacing as well but you need to measure it, about 4.5" is good.

Generic slotted wheels offer similar look but will offer wider sizes to give a deep dish look.  They'll need to be polished a lot to make them look like the ones you have pictured.  Craigslist is a cheap source for used ones.  I found 6 slotted rims (2-14"x6" and 4-14'x7 3/4") for $120.

According to this ad, the rears are 15" and the fronts are 14".

Google  "Ansen rims"  for the top ones.
