« on: December 22, 2011 - 02:09:09 PM »
hello all,

currently putting together 1971 340 cuda, looking to see what input you guys have when it comes to who makes the best quailty, fit and finish when looking for a new complete shaker assembly.

I have found a few on line like Rooseville and shakerhood.com, just wondering if anyone has purchased and can suggest which if they would buy again or not?

thankx

From what others have said regarding the Shaker bubble:
Gene Gregory, Alhambra Custom Services, http://alhambracustomservice.bravehost.com/

Gene Gregory is the source for Six Pack Performance, same prices as well last time I checked. IMO Gene's is the best reproduction stuff on the market. It's the most expensive as well but like I said above, you get what you pay for.

Was covered on Moparts.

the problem some run into is getting the grilles to fit properly into the bubble. what other vendors have; I don't know.

I used the parts from Six Pack Performance. Top notch quality parts. Not sure where Roseville gets theirs.

I bought mine through Roseville. I had to do a little clean up on the inside of the bubble to get everything running smoothly, but it didn't take me more than half an hour and a little piece of sandpaper.
