Hi, was there a bracket in drivers door on a 70 cuda that held the cables for the remote mirror, i saw one for a Challenger. what held them away from the glass Thanks

Guess that’s why my cable constantly gets tangled up when rolling down the window.  :banghead:
Bart, can you please take a pic or draw what the bracket looks like and where it goes?

My door has one. I also have seen a 71 Challenger with the bracket.

Maybe your car didn't originally come with a remote driver's side mirror?

I was at a all mopar yard today, looked at about 20 doors. Not one had the bracket but they all had the plastic round ring????   Saw one on eBay for $99.00??

Our '70 had that bracket too, but when it got hit, I had to get another door.  That one was maybe from a '73 and didn't have a place for that piece.  I ended up throwing the original door away with that piece attached.  Didn't expect someone would need it.  You can use a zip tie to hold the cables off the glass if you don't score the bracket.

to my knowledge it wasa 70 only part , maybe early 71 , later years just used a nylon push clip
