Correct Color Inside Wheel Well?

Hey folks, I have my fenders back from media blasting and want to have the inside of the fenders painted the  correct color in the wheel well area before the car is taken to be painted. In fact I'm currently planning on doing the under body the engine bay, cockpit, and trunk myself if I can catch a few warm days and get all the material here!

When these cars came down the assembly  line they were dipped in grey primer up to headlights, but that doesn't cover the top of wheel well inside. I've tried finding a picture but can't seem to find one of a correct car.

So a ready to paint fender well would be

1)grey
2)green
3:) Black???
 
or was whole inside of the fender painted  body color when it came through paint? Any help appreciated, and I'm bookmarking all these questions so I can have them for a reference when she starts getting put back together!

I may be wrong but I would put epoxy primer in thee to seal it up & undercoat over it or paint body color & undercoat . As far as I know all the wheelwell areas were undercoated no matter if you bought the undercoat pkg or not

I agree with Chryco.  Body color with undercoating.

"usraptr" = United States raptor - bird of prey = United States Bald Eagle.  FYI, somebody else thought of it first so I had to drop the "O" in raptor.

The above answers are correct.  The only way to get an exact factory appearance though, is to paint the car just like the factory did.  The only body color that would have been on the back side of the fenders is overspray from painting the wheelwells.(the painter probably didn't make a conscious effort to get paint back there)  I would suggest just priming them for now.  Once the car is painted(with the fenders on) you will get the body color over spray just like the factory.  Then once the car is basically all put back together, you can spray the undercoating.
