well....i thought hey everything should go together smoothly....i had a machine shop boil my heads out and stuff got them home and i started polishing the exhaust ports knocking the carbon off and smoothing them out some....well i noticed that one of my heads is cracked between the valves...i didn't notice any on the other head but i might as well replace both..GRRRR :fire: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :stomp: :stomp: :stomp:......

Sorry to sound rude but what engine is this? You have a lot of topics about different engins adn different cars/trucks it's hard to keep up.

Its for my 318 Magnum and its for my truck that i've had problems with the pistons and the crank and my bearing.......one step forwards 10 steps back.

I just saw some rebuilt heads   for 175.00 each on ebay from a machine shop they have lots of stuff, shipping was like 10-20bucks so it would be under 400.00                  but then there not that expensive new, and you might want another set of junkyard heads.

I'm tring to find some in the junkyard and i'm calling my cousin in oklahoma to see if he has a set and if he could do some polishing to em and stuff..i guess i can wait an extra 3 weeks i've done it before...

Well my cousin has a couple sets of heads he said i could have and that they aren't cracked..so i'll have my truck done by..well at this rate fall of 2102
