A Fine Evening!
« on: January 18, 2012 - 09:13:28 PM »
Wife is out with her girlfriend, kids are buried away in their rooms on Facebook or something,
dog is fed, beers are within reach, and Barrett-Jackson is on the 50" plasma!

Can it get any better?? :woohoo:

There are three real nice (numbers matching) T/A's up for auction this year:  715.1, 934.2 and 951.2.  It will be fun to see what they go for.

I was fortunate to meet Gaylen (on left) this past year at the Spring Roundup Mopar show in Everett, Washington.  He knows more about Mopars than should be allowed!

Don't waste your time watching the auction on Speed-------- they are completely disrespectful regarding the timing and number of commercials.

A much better alternative is to pick up the live auction stream at barrett-jackson.com

The seller with the brown T/A has got to be wondering just what happen there!  He got half of what the car was worth.

I don't get it the ebody prices were low on the Challenger T/A

check this T/A

Maybe they don't like the small 340 engine.

Everything with big block got the money.

Now all the big $ cars are rollin through. The 70 white 440 auto superbird sold for 200 K ,a big dollar for an auto but a beauty car. Some real nice cudas went through, but what always blows my mind is how many guys can afford 3 and 4 of the six figure cars $$$. I may have to re consider my earlier opinion, the cars are getting a big price. :burnout: :burnout:

I have to say the color of the brown T/A is probably partly responsible for the lower price.  Not as exciting as the flashy colors and less desirable.  I would own it it a flash!  Also, the T/A's are not as hot as the AAR's right now.  The $99K for Galens's AAR seems way over the norm.  :2cents:
