Do you have another pic of the non port side,also if it's a GM head, it should have a casting number somewhere on it. 

I'll look again for a casting number tomorrow.  I'll also get a pic of the non-port side.

I think i have it narrowed down for you.may be some of these cars out there somewhere.......... 

should be off an 1977-1980 CHEVETTE.................. 
THE part no. for 1977-1978 is 462792 1.4 eng or the 1.6 eng takes the same head
part no. for 1979-1980 is 14019830  1.6 eng only
not sure why different part noi for these years but i would bet it would fit any 1.6 eng 1977-1980 
throw it up on e-bay see if yoy get any hits on it...........
i had a old 1.7 encore head once brand new,was gonna tosss it,put it on e-bay and got 285.00 out of it.
down south i'm sure some off these cars are still on the road,these little engines lasted for ever.

P/S---- hope you didn't take CODY'S advise and threw it over the side of your boat.

Thanks Dave.  Ebay was the plan.  I bought the inventory of a machine shop that closed down.  I got a lot of 915 heads etc.  I wanted those.  The extra, non Mopar,  I am now identifying and selling off to pay for the stuff I kept from the lot.  Thanks again.

P.S. I did not use it as an anchor.  If it doesn't sell, I do need a new doorstop.
