My resto is basically an upgrade of most mechanical parts of the car.It seems as though everything not stock ends up being pain in the ass!!! Everything I attempt to install requires different bolts or machine work.wah wah! I will report back after I figure out the bearings. The bearings look like the same style we put on just about every car that comes through the shop, including trucks so I am hoping they will hold up.
I will finish a project.I will finish a project. I will finish a project.

Dr. Diff offers a rear disc brake kit that works with the original tapered bearings. Most companies disc kits need the green bearings. I have confirmed this by asking him directly, and he assured me the tapered bearing will work with his kit. I would in no circumstanses use the green bearings. You never ever hear about rear tapered bearings failing. That's ALL you hear about the green bearings. Just my :2cents:

I better get rid of my green bearings.  Over 40,000 miles in 7 years and still no issues.
