    im new on here but not to the e-bodies or the dak forums, i have 2 dak r/ts,94 bb dak 3 cudas and in the process of restoring my first challenger.

    Just curious, on the burnt orange car in restoration, what size rims are those up front?  17"?  What car did they come off of?  Thanks!   :thumbsup:

    1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

    Not near the point of picking up a spray gun, but I have done enough reading to tell me that this is a hard color to apply.

    Someone mentioned that it should be sprayed all at once or you will get shade changes.   even if I keep the car on rotisserie how can I paint everything at once? door jams, trunk, underside, engine area... seems non realistic. 

    Any tips/guidance is appreciated !!

    im located in north carolina
    i dont currently have any more pics of the cars right now
    the blk cuda is a #s matching 440 4 spd car
    the orange cuda is a non-matching 440-6 4spd, but it does have a 69 440 hp block
    the white cuda is #s matching 340 auto

    the rims are from a lx car,300, charger, challenger. i have a 275/45r17 mounted on one of the rims and is clears the quarter panel with about an inch of clearance, but on the front i dont know if it will clear the fenders yet

    the challenger is painted toxic orange or sunburst orange, its a newer color that Chrysler is using. as far as paint tips i dont really have any to give out, its mainly trial and error with the color for me
