Rear Sway Bar Frame Mount Bushings?
« on: February 05, 2012 - 10:35:10 PM »
Seems like I read this in another thread but couldn't find it.  I remember someone saying that the rear bushing was not a service replacement item as in Mopar didn't sell just the rubber bushing for the back 3/4" bar, so for those of you who have the stock rear sway bar, where did you get yoiur bushings?  I seem to remember some discussion about trimming some bushings there were designed for other vehicles and I'll do that if I have to, but doesn't anyone sell these?

Thanks in advance, Jim

You can buy the 3/4" bushing, it's the mount that is the problem. The bushing is captured buy the mount with no account for replacement. You have to trim the new bushing on one side and slide it into the mount. Energy sells a 3/4" bushing that will work I believe.
