1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

Remember, back in the early eighties the yen was very strong against the dollar, and many a cars were bought and sent over to japan.  I personally sold two cars that went to Japan, one was a 1958 VW and the other was a 1963 Ford Falcon Sprint.  Japan has very strict vehicle safety rules and inspection every two years, so many cars cannot be driven over there now.

Stuff like that tics me off no matter what make as long as they are performance, muscle or classic.

Shame to see that 69 and the z28. Plus the sweet T/A even though they are everywhere doesn't matter.
WANTED 71 cuda / barracuda project. Prefer Black but open.

Interesting, was not aware of that info.  Thanks!

Interesting how someone over there really like the Mustangs, especially the gen2 '71-'73 ones.  Look at the rims on the one stacked on top of another one in the back ground of the above picture.  Look at the rims.  I think that was the style rims they used in the 80's as some of my Japanese model cars came with rims like those.

Makes you think about how, like in US and other places, those cars in that yard were roaming the streets years ago and dominating stop light drags but even moreso in Japan against 4 and 6 cylinder cars.
