There are no silly questions when spending hard earned money on an old car. The more you know, the better you can make an informed decision. I've been lucky to have gotten a ton of help from guys on this site who ask questions that I didn't think of. It does two things.... it helps guys know more about the car that is for sale and it helps people know what to look for when they go look at ebodies in person. Asking on the forum will also keep the seller from having to answer the same questions over and over in emails or on the phone.
There's big advantages to buying a car in person, but that's not always possible. Because these cars are a little harder to find then the average muscle car, many purchase ebodies without going and seeing them. Not sure of the exact number, but I've probably bought the last dozen or so cars without seeing them at all (some collectible cars and some daily drivers). I can remember at least 4 of those cars from ads from this site.
We were all born with the exact same knowledge about ebodies. Thanks to everyone who as asked and answered questions on this site.... as that's how I've gained a lot of my knowledge about these cars. ARE U KIDDING ME?? these guys ask the same questions on every car that pops up on these websites, serious buyers dont ask too many silly questions they go and look in person, thats why the old days were better when guys just sold out of there local paper!! the buyers had no choice but to go see it!!!!too many pic collectors these dayz for sure!!!its a u code 70 cuda 4sp at 45k well worth going to see it if serious!!!
