Throttle cable set up???
« on: February 16, 2012 - 07:59:12 PM »
I'm never gonna have my 6 pack set up ready for spring.

So I've decided to do a quickie 4bbl set up this year and go with the 6 pack for next year. I'll be running an Edelbrock Performer RPM intake and an Edelbrock 750 carb.

I notice that the Performer RPM has no provisions for a throttle cable bracket like my 6 pack intake and I'm wondering what set up others are running?

Any feedback or pictures are appreciated!

I used the Lokar throttle and kickdown cables. So far so good. Sorry this is the best picture I have?

+2 on the Lokar
The cable attachment bracket is included and attaches to the rear carb stud. It's hard to tell from Brad's pic. Don't give him a hard time though, he's a snowblower jockey not a photographer.

well I did the new intake and 4bbl today....I still have to figure out how the cable bracket is going to be run. I've looked online and I see a few set-ups I like....I'm also gonna try ebay and see what's there...
