71 Cuda Seat Foam WTB
« on: February 09, 2006 - 02:03:05 PM »
I am sure someone else has gone through this dilemma so I throught I would tap the brain trust here at CC. I just received my new seat covers from Legendary and my upholstery shop told me to also order new seat foams for the front buckets but It seems that 71 Cuda's with the standard trim level are not reproduced.  Everyone carries the deluxe and leather style foam available but not the basic style. Can anyone point me in the right direction where I can find this foam? With all the mice that took up residence in the original foam all I want to do is burn it and start fresh.  Thanks,  Ed

You might try emailing this guy. He seems to have tons of stuff in stock and may have the parts/info you need.

kksergent@adelphia.net

With any luck he has got what you need. Good luck.  :working:

Personally I would think a good Upholstery guy could make his own and make it work.  I couldn't find foam for my convertible rear seat so my guy made some and it turned out great!!   :worshippy   :grinyes:  :grinyes:  :grinyes:

He's a new guy on the C-C site and has noted that he has a huge stock of new reproduction parts, I did see some seat stuff listed and he stated to email him if you were looking for some parts.

He is a new guy on the forums so as always I would recommend that you use caution when buying from anyone from the net.

4C,

I know it can't be that hard.  I watch American HotRod and I see Gabe the upholestry guy shape foam into some incredible shapes with a die grinder.  I am almost tempted to try it myself. If my man Angel can't handle it I am breaking out the die grinder and the electric carving knife and have at it...lol
