I was getting on the highway and a Del Sol came cruising by and gave me the ricer wot with the clutch in move. I paid no attention, happens constantly. As we were cruising along tho he keeps passing people in and out in the right lane, then revving and jumping on the side. Eventually the traffic disipated and he was trying real hard to instigate me, so I waved for him to go. He did. I left it in 6th and within 1k RPM I pulled a couple bus lengths on the kid. I figured that was enough, sometimes Ill do the same just to see or hear a car rip to be honest. But, that wasn't the case here, he wanted a true beatdown. So again I motion for him to go, I dropped to 4th and when I changed to 5th I had put a good 1/8th mile on him and shut it down.

It ends with him doing my favorite move, where they refuse to come back on the side no matter how much you slow down lol. That beating did the trick lol

When I got home I checked my Facebook quick and my buddy writes "did that Del Sol really think his car was fast?" lol. Gave me another laugh that someone else saw the funny race. Im going to start bringing my GoPro in the car for my commute again  :bigshades:

Is it just me or are the middle-aged Solstice & Sky owners similar to the Del Sol owners' group? :dunno:  It seems like whenever I have my Stealth out locally I am always getting tailed & provoked by the grey-haired guys in their Soltices; something I'd expect to see from a younger Honda owner. ::)
Nice way to put a severe beat-down on this Del Sol owner!! :cheers:  Hopefully it crushed his ego for a while so he doesn't try anything stupid anymore while within normal traffic (weaving in & out to try to get your attention). :2thumbs:

I have a Cobalt SS Turbo also, it has the GDI motor the Solstice and Sky TUrbo's use.  They can make some serious power with VERY little mods!  With a downpipe, E85 and a tune we were doing 350whp and 424wtq, I ran a 12.6 in mine with that setup.  Fun cars for the money!
