1970 Challenger whats it worth ?
« on: March 06, 2012 - 04:49:30 PM »
I recently came across a 70 challenger that has a dash VIn but no fender tag and the reamining areas the cowl, rear left of trunk, rad support area are rusted out. the car looks like it has been in the bottom of a salt mine for the last 40 years. it does have a great front rear bumpers and glass, k member, rear axle, seats he is asking $700 is it worth it. I am looking for parts for another 70 that i bought in colorado. What are your thoughts. it is a 6 cylinder car.
Thanks

Here are the pictures of the car. He wants $650 for it. is it worth it . The parts I can use are the bumpers, glass, seat frames, suspension. What are your thoughts. If so I am going to get it this weekend. There is no title but there is a VIN on the dash, but no fender tag.

Check your PM for a message.
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realize it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.

It looks like it has some hard to find colored interior pieces which might be worth some change if you don't need them (and if they are in repairable condition).

I'd get it and hang on to it....it's really gone though....it literally needs everything replaced! Probably $13K in metal alone.

Dash pad looks to be in good shape. If so, then that alone repro is the asking price of car.

Heck yea it's worth it! It is bad, but the panels are all there. $750 don't get you much in this world.
