Nice link, and very informative thread. I guess I missed that lil guy in my HVAC resto.
So here's what I have so far:
This is the grommet for the HVAC Vacuum tube.
It clearly shows the proper vacuum hose scale, however, the nipple port on the Power Brake Booster is 1/4", and the nipple port ont the vacuum pot is also 1/4"
Here is the vacuum pot setup "original" to my car
Right now, I have my Heater cable coming through this foot pump hole with a grommet of unknown origin.
I am also running my Oil pressure line through the same grommet
I see an option to run a vacuum nipple here:
And through the firewall in the "correct" location
If you look at the pics of my engine bay when I recieved the car, you will notice that the vacuum line was in fact on the Power Brake Booster.
http://www.pbase.com/dmz73/image/65717750It really doesn't matter where I hook up to get vacuum, however, I would like to know if it is OK to run the 1/4" vacuum line, or if I need to reduce it.

Another dumb question.
I have a new engine bay harness. What does the "blue" Compressor wire hook up to?
Does it hook up to the brown wire?
