    Where does the wire from tach actually attach to on the engine itself? Want to see if it maybe came off?   71 Cuda 340.

    Is the positive and negative sides of the coil itself actually marked with a + and - like a battery?? If not
    how do I know which is which??
    I looked and my Cuda 340 has wires attached to both bolts on the coil? Which one is the one specific for the tach and what are the others? I took a look and appears to be 3 wires in total attached to the coil itself?
    Does anyone maybe have a picture of the correct attachment for the wires?

    Your coil is probably marked with raised symbols or paint.  On my coil the pos has a blue wire and the negative has one yellow wire with a black stripe and one gray wire with a black stripe.  Typically a green wire goes to the neg side of the coil from your tach.

    The coil should be marked, but you might have to remove the wires to see it. If you are using the Rally gauge harness, the tach wire is gray.
