Newbie from Indiana
« on: April 20, 2012 - 03:22:59 PM »
Hello everyone! New guy here. Looking forward to meeting everyone. I haven't got a Challenger as of yet. I am in the process of driver/restoring an 82 AMC Spirit for one of my sons, and my other son just bought a rough 73 Dodge Charger. You guessed it--I get to do the bodywork. I would love to get my hands on a Challenger soon.

Hello. Hope all is good your way. Give me some info (condition, price). I am mainly interested in a Challenger above all. Nice to meet you by the way.

Welcome. Big AMC fan here. I've had 2 Gremlins, 3 AMC Jeeps and a Javelin. Enjoyed each and every one of them.

Hello ChallengerHK! Good to hear you are also an AMC guy. They are still somewhat under-appreciated I think. But they are gaining steam. Thanks for the welcome!

Hello to you both! I agree, from what I have seen so far, it is a great place with a lot of great people. Appears to be a very helpful lot as well.

Yep, AMC did make some great cars. The Spirit is basically a warmed over Gremlin, but it can be a cool car. The one we are working on right now is going to be metallic Mopar dark green, black interior, and a 289 V8. AMX black-out parts, no graphics. It has a set of Magnum 500's on it from a 70 Challenger I picked up in Kentucky. It will be done probably within the next year. Things have piled up on me here. :pullinghair:

Thank guys for the welcome!
