Parking light lenses for Challenge 70

Can someone tell me why the parking lenses for a Challenger are orange (usually) or clear? I read something about the clear would be for canadian cars? If anyone have details let me know? Thanks

Personally, I can't recall ever seeing clear other than the re-pops. A Challenger shares it's front turn signal lenses with a 70 Charger. Maybe some of the Charger's were clear?

Never seen one up here in  with clear parking light lenses.

There's a NOS clear lense on Ebay so it should exist in 70's
