Master Cylinder Question
« on: May 09, 2012 - 09:05:01 AM »
I have been struggling bleeding my brakes and have a question about the master cylinder.  With the reservoir cap off, and while brakes being depressed, is it normal to have the fluid squirt out?  With my hand over the reservoir, I can feel the fluid squirting - quite a bit when the pedal is rapidly depressed.  Is this a sign of internal leakage, or is it normal?

Brakes are not my specialty but I vote for normal operation.  I have had systems operate like that and work just fine.
