No Brakes

Well, since I got my 72 Challenger in December I've only driven it about 14 miles due to not having a full exhaust system on it.  The other day I was moving it out of the yard and into the driveway to mow the lawn, and I noticed the brakes weren't working very well.  It has manual drums all the way around.  Checked the fluid reservoir and it was empty.  It was full when I bought it.

Where would be the first place to look to for a brake fluid leak?  I've always been scared to mess with braking systems on my previous vehicles.  I eventually want to put on Front Discs from Master Power Brakes or another company.

First I would check to see if any of the wheels are wet behind the drums. It is pretty common for a wheel cylinder to go out if the car has been sitting or they have never been changed out. Remember they are 31 years old. One of my rear ones was out on my 'Cuda but it sat for 13 years before I bought it.   Front Disc brakes are the way to go. Definately

lines has a hole in it,

master cyl. leaking-- look around the brake pedal were the rod goes trough the firewall and floor cause if the master cyl. leaking there is the most likey place to show.

here is what i would do.
1. fill the reservoir
2. have somebody pump the brakes
3. look for the leak BUT CAREFUL CAUSE IT COULD BE SQUIRTING.
