I didn't really get to drive the cam for the SE much before I sold the car and I think the low compression engine was a bigger issue.

Here's the specs on the cam I took out the new 383 just built.  Cam #H2311-2261-12

Exhaust lift 471 Centerline 117 Duration 226
Intake 478 Centerline 107 Duration 231

What's your thoughts on that cam Neil?  If someone wants it, it's still nearly brand new!  Make me an offer and I'll be glad to see it go to use.  I think this cam is going to need more than 600 cfm carb to make it come alive.


you can usually get there with stock carbs , but there is a lot of tricks to make that happen !!
 I am glad the 2nd cam worked better.
 How did you like the cam we picked for the SE years ago ??
