Ok just drove 6000 kms or 4000 miles last 5 days from Sherwood Park, Alberta to Windsor, Ontario, through the USA, Via Fargo, Minneapolis, Chicago, Detroit,  took 5 days, drove way too much,  got lost in Chicago, but it all worked out.   It was $45000 all in came with original block, 2 set of heads, manifold, and two big huge tupper ware containers of parts, very very happy, was going to buy a Viper, but this can never come close.  Heres some videos of the loading of the car at Windsor.  I got one speeding ticket in ND by Fargo, was doing 10 mph over, got a $20 fine, in Canada would be closer to $150.  Going into Detroit with the car US customs guy asked me to step out, "oh ****" started looking at the car, another US customs guy comes over, they are talking to each other, looking all over, underneath,   He came over and stated "If I could seize it I would, Its my favourite car in the world". Went to Portal Sask where the US/Canadian border is some female inspection gal is behind the window (this is where I think there a lot of explaining to do) says, anything to declare, I say "no just picked this car up in Ontario"  "Ok, nice car have a nice day, drive safely "

Another heres the videos

That's a beautiful car....

I hope they didn't sell it to you with the "Frame off restored" part... since the cars don't have a frame that can come off.

Best of luck with the new car!

I think for $45k, for a u-code, pistol grip four-speed rotisserie restored Challenger, you did well.

Love the color combo (getting tired of high-impact cars).  Does it come with documentation?  Fender tag or sheet?

Ya he gave me a set of 440 heads, original block, manifold, ton of parts, he had gone back identified all the original owners, has the original owners manual, fender tag has all the right things, was originally out of Connecticut with original bill of sale, the guy I got it from worked for Dodge and had a bunch of cool stuff like a 1970 sales forcast brochue with a 1970 challenger of the front it has all the sale figures for 1970 what cars sold and how many,   I got the car knowing it was all original but at the end of the day wish it was a high impact color car, I drive my charger (Top Bananna Yellow) and weird stuff happens everyone looks, people start recording with their cellphones, I don't get that with this car although it's twice the car the charger is when it comes to restoration quality.   I look at the car it sits low in the rear end, maybe I will "jack it up" thinking of even putting a Shaker hood on the thing.  :clueless:

hey kev, i can relate.

my '72 Challenger IS the rotisserie restoration. it's as if you drove it off the showroom floor. my '74 Challenger is
Hot Rod all the way. it ain't half as perfect as my '72, but it gets twice the attention. go figure.
