Rear valance fit

I would like some experienced input on the "fit" of the aftermarket rear valances that are being sold now.  I am looking at Goodmark, AMD, and Sherman parts.  I am a bit confused by the Goodmark metal because I saw a panel at a swap meet that the vendor swore was a Goodmark but it was labeled "Keystone" #GMK2422875701 and made in Taiwan.      I hear tell that they all come from the same factory anyway, and these brands are just distrubutors.     Can anyone clear all this up?   

If it matters, I need the valance with exhaust cutouts.

Not really sure on a Cuda, but on a Challenger most of them except AMD are made on the same tooling from what I understand. The Challenger Goodmark and Sherman are supposedly the same items.(not sure if Sherman is still around?) Initially I wanted an AMD but even though they listed them on their website for 2 years they never really had them available for purchase. I think the Cuda's are complete.

Anyway, the Goodmark Challenger item has a lot to be desired where it fits the lower corners of the quarters. Also the bends/angles around the exhaust tips are no where near OEM. I have an OEM to compare too but it is beyond repair from 30 plus years of way too much abuse. The repro units are also much thinner metal compared to OEM.

I've got an AMD rear valance, but haven't gotten to the part where I get to mount it yet. Mopar Dave can gear you up if desired.

I've got AMD and Goodmark rear valences w/ cutouts for a Challenger.  IMO, the AMD one is superior to Goodmark.
The AMD one has
- thicker metal
- better quality of the EDP
- better edges (not jagged along the bottom)
- better bends
- better fit (fit better than my OEM one w/o cutouts)

Got mine from Mopar Dave.

I put a sherman on my cuda,fit was fair to poor.I had to move the inner braces to the correct spots and pie the right side to fit the quater. after these mods it looks ok but the centerline is slightly off.

We put an AMD valance on our Cuda after the rear end got smashed.  We also put on AMD quarters.  We had to do a lot of adjusting, drilling, grinding to make it snug.  The worst places were the seams between the quarters and valance where it didn't seem like the indentations on the quarters were deep enough for the valance tangs and that the holes didn't line up so well.  You'll definitely need a second set of hands to help you fit it on the car.

Do you have to replace the quarters?  If so, then you might as well go AMD and do the fitting all together before the final welds.

If not, I'd say try to find a very nice OEM one.  THey're still out there.

If you can't, then AMD; Goodmark rear valances has a horrid rep.
