    Piece that keeps door open?

    Hello!
    My drivers side door is missing the spring piece that keeps the door open while getting in/out. I've been searching for a replacement, but can't seem to come up with a search term for this piece.
    Any idea? Even better, anyone know where to find one?

    Just replace the whole hinge.

    The "S" spring looks perfect. What would be the advantage in replacing the whole hinge?

    In your original post you said you were missing the "spring piece". If it looks perfect then you
    'obviously aren't missing it. So I guess I don't understand what part is missing. And if you can't find the
    part you are looking for then you would replace the whole hinge.
