Removing the window sticker.

Mike, I have had to get some real old stickers off some of the ceramic lamps I was telling you about. Of all the things I tried, charcoal lighter fluid worked great. Took the crap right off.

An interesting idea for sure.

I forgot to do it this year. I leave some of the backing in the center of the  sticker to make it easier to remove.
Watch what u use on the new car windshields it can damage the finish.
Do not use wheel cleaner ever on glass.

I'll dive into it tomorrow guys. The only thing that scares me here is the lacquer thinner suggestion. My windshield doesn't have trim around it, so it might be easy to get that on the paint of the A-pillar(I hope I have that terminology correct).

don't pour the lacquer thinner over the windsheild 


dampen a clean rag after you get the sticker off and then wiper it over the glue. the glue will start to dissolve and then
scrape it with a straight blade. when it looks like it's off, put a little more thinner on a dry area if the rag and wipe it
again. then shine it up with windex

Thanks for that. I think my problem up to now is I haven't used a blade. I'm going to head out soon to battle it again.

By the way, you have 2 awesome cars. I'm glad I got to see them.

The blade only made it spread like a freakin' wild fire.   

BUT...Spreading that $hit adhesive was the key. That made it thinner. Invisible Glass and a micro-fiber towel finished it off.
