1970 front E-brake cable
« on: June 21, 2012 - 09:28:38 AM »
can anyone tell me what`s up with the front parking brake cable for a 1970 cuda?   My local moparshop will charge me close to $200  :eek2: for the front cable.  Not in 200 years I won`t  :grinno:
when I check rockauto.com,  that cable costs $17....  but it is not available at this time  :dunno:  anyone have an affordable solution to the problem?

Rockauto isn't going to have a factory style cable.  It's going to be a generic piece.  You can get complete stainless e-brake cable kits for under $200 from Fine Lines or Inline Tube.  I think they sell the cables separately too.  Measure your original cable so you know your getting the correct length.
