Looking around

Sold my car last month, so now Im interested in buying a 70-74 Barracuda, Challenger or 68-70 Charger, I am located in Northern California, Also not looking to spend a lot of money, just looking for something I can drive and fix up at the same time. I am kind of stuck of trying to find a car in my area due to financing the car purchase through my bank. If any of you guys have any pointers on finding a car or when a good time to buy let me know, seems like cars are not popping up like they were last year.

Oh forgot to say that my budget is around 12000 if possible.

I can tell you that if you are in the SF Bay Area you won't see many come up for sale. It seems there are more up in the Northwest than in California. I also think there are more in the LA area as well so you might look in those places.

The other downside is getting the car and paying for the shipment which could be from 1-2k just for that.

I wonder if C O D Y has any info on cars over there?  He seems to be able to find lots of good stuff.

Thanks for the info. I am located by Sacramento. I have to agree they seem to pop more in the norther part of the state. Luckily I am not in a rush. I am sure something will pop up eventually.
