AM 8 track Radio
« on: July 03, 2012 - 02:32:23 PM »
Hello all.
I am a proud owner (new to the site) of an AAR that I have been slowly working on for the last 10 years.
It is a driver not a show car, and I would like to keep the original AM 8 track radio which is currently non functional. Anyone have a suggestion on who might still work on these. It seems most of the places like Wards have quit working on them do to non availability of parts. Any ideas?

"There's no such thing as putting a '70 AAR 'Cuda exactly where you want it. The 'Cuda isn't interested in such things, for they require finesse. Finesse asked the 'Cuda out to dinner once, but the 'Cuda stood it up to go drink beer under an overpass with her hot little sister. As far as this car is concerned, finesse can go stuff itself."

Greg,

Welcome to the site here.

I had these people re-do my tach and clock on my Rally gauges. They do fine work. They offer a service for AM/8-track players, so you might want to give them a call.
