    twofornow, thanks all OK,  my buddy dragged his family to the gun section in Dick's but the employee had already run away.  the shooter walked out of Best Buy stopped in front of Dick's to reload and Dick's employees attacked him and
    held him for cops.  unfortunatly they didn't beat him to death.    2 injuries: army recruter shot in leg, shopper hit in
    hand by richochet.   the n.y.c. subway is safer now than upstate malls    no joke   subway is good now

      The incident got a one paragraph write-up at the "News Around the Nation" section of my local paper. Glad no one was critically injured though. One of these days i'll get back home (Brooklyn) for a spell ::) Last time was '88 and the tokens were seventy five cents i think.

    ahh Brooklyn,   I have aunt and uncle  that have lived at Bay 33rd & Ave. U  since 1952 .   Man has that
    area changed since  I was a kid.
