Vintage Air complete do it yourself kit used **SOLD**
« on: July 09, 2012 - 02:13:53 PM »
Save yourself from spending 1,400 bucks on a new Vintage Air unit... I just removed this whole kit off of my 1970 Challenger.  It has everything you would need with the exception of the defroster vents and the duct work.  It's a little bit of an older vintage air unit, not brand new, but it worked great on my car before I removed it last week, blew cold and strong, compatable with R-134a or R-12. Everything included, asking $350, negotiable.  A hell of a deal for a lot of equipment. You can install it yourself with what I have and a little bit of time and effort.  I will not pay for shipping, located in Houston.

-evaporator/blower unit (with mounting brackets)
-condensor (with mounting brackets)
-compressor (with mounting brackets)
-I have all of the wiring laid out with ends marked off for easy installation
-All of the A/C controls including the heater control plastic dash piece that screws on lower left hand side of dash
-All of the tubing (In good shape, may have to buy a couple rubber hoeses to replace)
-The dryer may have to be replaced as well because I forgot to plug it up when I removed it
-You can hook this up to an A/C dash or use screw on vents that I will include for a non A/C dash
-looks great and works, I also have the firewall block off plate and the metal pieced the hoses run through
-Should be everything you need to get your A/C working

PM me here or give me a call if you have any questions,

Unfortunately I didn't think to take pictures while it was under there... I can take some underneath if you'd like but of course the brackets and everything have been removed.

However, I do have a couple pictures of it all in my engine bay if you'd like to see that. Feel free to ask any uncertainties if you have any, I feel like its a very good price
