Moog Offset bushings - What a difference
« on: July 13, 2012 - 10:08:58 AM »
Ever since I put on the 20 inch Torq Thrust II and lowered the front, the front wheels have leaned inwards. Tire wear on the inside, sudden side leaps kept the driver alert...
Adjustment at the end. Finally changed to Moog Offset bushings. Handling is so much better.
Just wanted to share the good news

You might want to check/replace the LCA bushings and strut rod bushings too. Just thinking if the uppers were shot chances are the lowers are toast too? Especially if they are original

Thanks for the concern. The car was completely restored in -05. The upper bushings looked like new when I removed them. The problem - I guess - was a combination of lowering and more positive wheel offset. The cam bolts were at the end of adjustment.
The other bushings were new in -05.
