Shifter reccomendations
« on: July 14, 2012 - 10:20:32 PM »
I am thinking of getting a new shifter put in and was wondering what do you guys think are good ones for the Price. I have a hurst shifter in right now. I played with a Lokar one last week and I like the feel of hat one. Sometime my shifter doesn't catch the cable and I have a problem putting in park but this only happens sometimes. Was told it is the shifter, because the shifting cable is "adjusted" all the way.  Just thinking of putting in an upgrade. Let me know

Mopar is weird , ford & GM have shifters that move an equal distance between all gears , Mopar throws further into park so you seem to get park or first but not both .
Cheetah is the only one I know of with the extra distance into park , others may know of a different shifter that works correctly .
