ive been doing the electrical the last couple days, its a complete kit from american autowire. i have most of the electrical done so i hook up the battery to do some trouble shooting. there is no motor or tranny in the car but i don't see this being a problem. the kit does not come with the original plug for the wiper motor, intead it is individual plugs and it shows wich color of wires hook to what spade on switch. my switch seems to be a little different from their instructions. with this pic can anyone tell me if there is something odd? this it my old harness.

what is the issue ? the position of the wires in the plug compared to the diagram ?
working from the old plug put the wires where they used to be & it should work correctly .

the f2 is green in the diagram and on your old plug , on your plug the w - is brown and the a- is brown with white tracer and reversed on the one you are trying to add , dont know why ? but thats the only difference I see

The new harness has 6 wires as it should but the red and green are in a common connector. Long story short if I had a switch that the passon link shows it would work because the f1 and f2 ( green and red ) are in the correct spot. I might cut the ends off the new harness but I wanted to see if someone had experienced something like this before
