904 vibration

I have a 904 transmission with unknown miles. Started to get a vibration only when moving off at a light or from a parking spot, none on the highway or after 10 mph . I changed the tranny mount, and it helped a little. Driveshaft has not been balanced yet or u-joints replaced. I didn't change the converter either, because a friend who works in a tranny shop said it sounds like the cluthces inside. Any chance this is the problem?

maybe check the tq bolts, but could be anything without more input

I would get the driveshaft looked at first.  Have it balanced and new u-joints installed.  That could be causing your issue and it's a lot cheaper than tearing into the trans.
