Can't get key out of ignition
« on: September 03, 2012 - 04:37:23 PM »
Hi guys,
I can't get my ignition key out of the column.  It's stuck between on and off.  I can fire the engine and turn it off but can't get the key to turn completely counter clockwise to get it out.  I fiddled with the gear selector and no matter what gear it's in, the key won't release.  P-R-N-D seem to be lined up right.  Does anyone have a detailed diagram of the inside of the column?

Try grabbing the collar and moving it a bit or the park lever under the hood on the Column and move it a bit.
