Ok guys I guess I have been looking on the XV site too much because now I want to use some of theyre ideas but there is a few complications. I like the XV gauge cluster set up but the panel you put the gauges in is out of stock and they dont know when they are going to have more. I have looked for other clusters but have not seen any options. From what I understand most people are taking sheet metal and just cutting out holes for the inserts. I would refer something with more of a professional look so I would like to not use that option unless there are no other options. Would it be  better to guy my gauges first or find the actual cluster first? Secondly I LOVE the XV center consoles! I want something similar but mines is probably going to be custom and a 1 off so any suggestions or maybe some picks of what you guys have will be really helpful. Also I want a custom shifter handle, right now I have a B&M shifter but I will replace it if needed. I saw a youtube vid with shifter similar to what I want. The vid is below, the guy said he made it from steel, I am not willing to do that but I do have access to a CNC machine so aluminum is a possibility. If someone has a diagram of a custom shifter and wants to share please do so.  Oh and lastly are there any reasonably priced after market seats that are not too difficult to get into the Chally, Thanks Guys

If you are going to keep the stock gauges, you can have white faces installed on them.  As for the woodgrain panels(if your car has the Rallye dash) you can use paint stripper to remove the woodgrain paint.  That will leave you a metal finish that you can brush with steel wool....or paint a different color.

Actually I would prefer aftermarket gauges and a unique instrument panel all together. Thanks tho, thats not bad info.

Use the rallye cluster out of a 71-74 B body. Looks completely different from an E body version. Can be modified to look and fit different guages and will fit in any E body. Steve Strope modified one in their 71 Road Runner build. Normally they come with imitation woodgrain, but that can be changed.
