show me your (cuda) tips
« on: August 03, 2012 - 12:10:27 PM »
installing the exhaust,   problem is, with everything assembled the tips dont quite look right along the reveal of the valance. They stick out further on the outside (qtr panle side)than they do on the inside (gas tank side).  Im using the pypes system and tips from pg classics. Tried rotating tail pipe to change the angle but not much difference,  or am i looking at it wrong and the tips are to be square to the pipes and have an angled reveal along the valance?     :banghead:  So,  i need some pics of what other have so i can figure this out.
thanks,
Doug

I would take the car to a muffler shop and let them fix it.They could do it in 30 minutes or less.

well the valance is curved so when the resonators run straight along the fuel tank, you get what you describe... you could try rotating the over axle pipes to get the front of the resonator closer to the fueltank  :dunno:

here mine, but I welded all connections and adjusted the tips to where I liked them.
