The picture you posted looks like a longer base , 71 up to me

The links I posted further above show the difference between 70 and the later years. They have the same bolt patterns, but to be politically correct, you need a shorter base on your mirror.

It sounds like you have a 70 passenger's side mirror, which is different and more tear duct shaped than the others.
I thought there was quite a difference in that mirror, this is not obvious just looking at it as it is only about 1/16" difference but when you place them face to face it shows. I will try to get some pics tonight.

Thanks guys for all the help. I think I found one for my 70 Chally only problem now is it is really loose and the mirror will need to be replaced. It was the right date code for my car too. Anybody know who restores these? or how to do it?
