I think some of the B bodies came with spacers.The E bodies did not.

Mine did have some spacers ( who knows if someone added them or not?) they were a fiberglass/plastic type material.

My 74 had spacers on them. I took the back ones out so the seat angled back. In my charger i put a set of daytona seats -think 1989?- in and they were the most comfortable seats and they bolted right up.

cut I made in the frame arms. I cut drivers side deeper and you can see it leans back about 2" more at the headrest, comparing to pass side.

Thanks for those. That seems like an easy mod that would only take a few minutes per side.

I'm going this route too... even angled back, these seats are horrid...
