Stainless Window rails

After sending many a part off to a chrome shop, I got back my window channel rails which install to the inside upper portion of the window.

When I took them in I noticed they looked like they had a gasket attached to them. Anyone know where I can find a pair so I can put them back in my 70 Cuda?

You had the drip rail trim chromed?  It's stainless from the factory and only needs to be polished. 

Yes, there were gaskets in that area.  There is a gasket between the drip rail trim and the body as well as between the weatherstripping holder and the drip rail trim.  Detroit Muscle Technologies makes the kit.  A lot of other companies sell his stuff.  You can get it dirrectly through him or through one of the many venders that sell it.

No everything was just polished, looks good too!

Yep looking for the gasket between the rail and the body. I got the weatherstrip kit from yearone but I don't know if it has it.

Is there a name for this gasket so I can check?

From my memory it was a pretty thin foam gasket. Hopefully that one is the ticket.

Called Detroit but it seems they are late getting back from the Nats.

Guess I could use Black silicon as well to make the seal.

Btw, what are the screws that hold not only the channel in but the drip rail polished pieces which I am guessing mount under the channel piece?

The drip rail trim is only held on with three or four screws.  The screws are small and have a very flat head on them.  I don't think I have a picture.  The weatherstripping chanel used screws with a round head.  There are teeth under the head as well.  The screws are clear zinc plated.

I found that #8 machine screws with 1/2" depth to them work great for the drip rails and the weatherstrip channel uses the same #8 screws but 5/8" in length with washers. Both are zinc plated.
