Radiator question ?

 I am trying to mount a C-body radiator # 2998968 into my e-body and have run into clearance and mount issues as expected that I think I can work around  , ( having to drill holes in the radiator mount brackets to line it up with the fan shroud . the radiator body supports,  and radiator shround hits the passenger strut rod ) and I am not sure how high the radiator can sit above the radiator cowl body cross support before it interferes with the hood. Probably don,t need to go that high just high enough to line it up and then drill holes in the radiator brackets and shroud alignment and mount it.


You can see in the pic the shroud scrapes the fan a bit I want to know how high I can go with the radiator.

the hood has a lot of clearance just behind the seal that contacts the top of the rad wall , I would put putty or something crushable on the rad cap close the hood & measure how high you can go
