« on: July 23, 2012 - 06:10:08 AM »
Looking for pics and tricks on installing my pypes 2 1/2" system.Anyone have pics of the rear hanger positions?  Or did you use the  universal hangers that came with the kit? Wanting to get this on this week and would  like to know what others have done on thier  installs.  Did find some pics searching the posts but would like to see how others have done it as well.
Thanks

I used the hangers that came with the kit I hated to do it but I just put a couple screws in them where the rear seat sheet metal turns upwards. Do you have the under valance or thru the valance kit. I also used some 3/8 rod, 2 side hangars and a round galvanized pipe hanger screwed this hanger setup to the frame this helped me hold the pipes over closer to where the notches are on my valance still not perfect but it got them a lot closer than where the pipes wanted to sit coming out of the mufflers. I can try to get a few pics if you need them to show you what i`m talking about.

yes these will go through the valance, with the tips i got from PG Classics.  Didnt really want to make a mess of installation so if you do have some pics that would help me out some, I'm sure.  I'll study it some more and modify what i have to to hang the pipes. Just another reason why i have torches, welders and a whole shop of tools,     modify accordingly is what i say.  :smilielol:  Also, do you have a rear sway bar,  tails hit it and looks like i will need to cut some off the tip side to allow it to move back away from the sway bar.  Looks like i have to cut between 2 and 3 inches which will allow me to move the tails back, in turn slides the mufflers back under the seat more and still may have enough to connect to the collectors.    This is getting frustrating   :swear:

Not happy with PG Classics Chally tips. Nice tips (no spelling error there!) but no brackets. Had to fab my own.
