0 Decking and intake manifold fit ?

Hi,
I'm building out a '76 360. I had the bock 0 decked (-.050), will I have to have anything taken off the heads or intake manifold to have the intake manifold fit correctly ?

If so, how much and is it better to take it off the heads or the manifold ?

The heads are Indy X heads from IMM Engines with an Edelbrock Performer RPM Intake Manifold

rule of thumb is .012 off the intake face for every .010 off the deck , I prefer to mill the intake surface of the head then any intake will fit , if you mill the intake it is the only intake that will fit & the intake will fit nothing else

I built an early year 73 360 once for my fathers 72 pickup. He picked up the motor used and in need of a rebuild. So I hauled it to a machine shop. I asked them to deck the motor just enough to make both sides parallel and flat. Passenger side cleaned up fine, but the driver's side had yo be cut .085. Even after cutting all that off the deck the pistons still sat .070 in the hole!
