Couple of electrical Questions
« on: August 18, 2012 - 02:16:08 PM »
Hello all!
I have a couple of electrical questions.
1. On a 4speed ebody, are there any electrical wires that run under the carpet. I converted my 73 from a slapstick automatic to a 4speed and I am in the process of installing sound deadener and carpet. The only wiring that I recall is the seat belt belt buzzer/light  and the light for the center console. Being that I don't have the console light anymore and I am not hooking the seatbelt buzzer/light up...I assume that there are no other wires that I need to run. is this correct?

2: Does anyone know where I can purchase amber Headlights that will plug into the typical three prong clip?

Thanks

Nothing runs under the carpet , all the wiring is routed along the side rocker on the drivers side that goes to the rear of the car .

there is a small harness for the 4 speed back-up light goes through the firewall and hooks on a body fold tab and plugs into the tranny back-up switch.

PM Brads70. He installed them on his car. I believe he had to make a small mod to the headlight bucket. Maybe just the two prong high beam though.
