Options for replacement wiring harness
« on: September 09, 2012 - 02:36:14 AM »
I'm fixing to pull the wiring harness from my car and I have noticed several knicks in it. I am curious as to if there are repro harnesses. If that isn't an option is it feasible to get mopar connectors and just re create what I have?

There are options out there where you get a box of wire, terminals, a terminal block and a good luck manual. M&H does make a nice repo harness, but you sure can tell it isn’t factory. I'm not sure if they offer some of the sub harnesses such as the delay light harnesses, three speaker harnesses, A/C harnesses, SE harnesses, etc.

I offer restorations on Mopar only main dash harnesses for those folks that want to maintain the originality of their car as much as possible. All Packard and bullet male and female terminals are replaced. Cut wires are replaced from end to end.

Here is an example of what I start with and deliver. I can be reached at jsrestorations@rocketmail.com if you’re interested.

Sounds great. That looks like great work. I was gonna try and build my own, but that may be out of my game. Will contact you in the future for sure.
