It seems like asking prices for a ‘70’s Challenger or Cuda even in rough condition are pretty crazy in the Denver area. I found mine on the Denver craigslist, but most really descent deals are sold in less than 1 day.
Good Luck

Hi cruddy mutt, welcome!

Hope you find that car of your dreams!

Yeah, '70 Cudas and Challengers command a bit more than the '72-'74 counterparts but if that's what you are looking for, go for it!  :grinyes:

Odds  are very much against finding exactly what you want in a reasonable price range local to you.

Do you want a project, a reasonable driver, a restored  to stock, or a modified version? Some of these will be easier to find that others, some obviously more costly. With the market the way it is, your best value may actually come in finding a mostly restored, slightly modified driver condition car and you'll probably need to import from another state, althought you do occasionaly find decent cars at reasonable prices in Colorado.  Alos, I highly doubt you'll find barginas on craigslist or ebay. Too many people are trolling those for you to get a big jump on something decent or undervalued. Best bets will come from tips of other guys in the hobby.

BTW, welcome to CC.com!

Porject cars are out there. Check out ebay/craigslist section. A number of members post stuff they find and there are some decent starting points in there.

One thing I'd receommend, the better the starting point, the easier the restoration. So if it costs a few grand more to get a solid body, it probably is worth the cost comapred to a cheaper basket case.
