New fuel sending unit ?s
« on: September 28, 2012 - 02:44:25 PM »
I installed the new fuel sender in my gas tank today.  The new sender has an extra vent that the old one did not.  What should I hook this vent to?  As of now, I'm not running a charcoal canister.  Can I hook this vent to the vapor separator in place of the return line?  Will the tank vent properly if I do this?  Any advice is appreciated.  Thanks!

Plug it. No. No.

(it's a return line, not a vent.)

I have the same deal in my car. I just plugged it. Hooked up the charcoal cannister  the usual way through the vapour seperator.
